Positive: The property is a (I think) relatively new apartment in a beautiful, quiet location and has a great view. The owners live next door and are available if you need (they left their numbers in the apartment). They left us a welcome package with local crisps, apple juice, bread, eggs... Very thoughtful! I believe the apple juice was produced by a farm just a few miles away. The apartment is well equipped with all sorts of cooking utensils, an induction cook top, dishwasher, oven, toaster, washing machine... There is a binder with information on the apartment and the area too. Heaters can be adjusted to your liking. The heaters are wall heaters, so the floor can get chilly (we were there in November), so it could be a good idea to bring flip-flops to wear inside. There are lots of hiking opportunities nearby. There are maps in the apartment, but an app like AllTrails can also be useful. Note that trails can get quiet muddy after rain, so it's a good idea to bring proper hiking shoes. The bed was comfortable, but a little short for me (I'm guessing 1.90m), but there is no foot board so as long as you don't mind your feet sticking out, you'll fit ;-).

Negative: The roads in this area are very narrow, it is only possible to pass oncoming traffic in certain places, meaning often one of the cars needs to wait, or even reverse to get to a wider part. Fortunately there is very little traffic on the roads though, but it may take some getting used to if you're not from the area. It just takes a bit longer to travel relatively short distances.

Summary: Great apartment to stay at if you'd like to explore the area. Comfortable and well equipped.
