Summary: Staff were wonderful. Room was spacious. Not many in-room amenities—just soap, shampoo & lotion. If the valet wants to help with your luggage & give you a lift to your lodge, say YES! Life-saver for us not used to the altitude. Restaurant on-site is very good. Bartender Donny was very nice.

Summary: Room was clean despite housekeeping shortage the first weekend open for the season. Staff was awesome. It was great staying onsite at the National Park. The road to access it was slow, long, up a very old winding grade, but well worth the trip to the top. The lodge restaurant had excellent food and the breakfast buffet (not included) was amazing. It did not bother us, but the rooms are very basic, clean but older. There are no elevators. You are paying for the convenience and beauty of the location. Because of the location, we were able to get up early and visit General Sherman and other sites prior to the onslaught of tourists. Well worth it.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay here at the Lodge! Yes you have to carry your luggage up some stairs, but we had a wonderful time. Friday night we ate dinner at the restaurant, and Sat we grabbed some pizza and beers after a day of hiking. Staff was very helful and also let us check in early. We will definitely be back since we missed crystal cave.

Summary: The only convenient lodging within the Park, we've been coming here since the Lodge first opened. Great Staff, and incredible food in the Dining Room. We make it a habit to come up once a year or two.

Summary: Overall, everything was good and the staff was friendly. However, the biggest issue was breakfast – there were no fresh vegetables or greens, not even cooked ones, which was disappointing. Another major problem was the noise. The soundproofing is very poor – it felt like other guests were inside the room with us. The hotel has older buildings with wooden partitions, which makes noise travel very easily.
