Location, Location, beautiful home is located in the neighborhood of Virginia Trace where you're surrounded by golf courses and recreation centers. Mallory Country Club is less than a mile away and offers Championship golf and has one of the most popular country club restaurants. You're less than a mile to Lake Sumter Landing Market Square where you'll find many restaurants, shopping, grocery store, movie theater and FREE live entertainment nightly. Virginia Trace Neighborhood Recreation Center is a quick golf cart ride away. Here you'll find a swimming pool, shuffleboard courts, bocce ball & horseshoe pits. Your also within walking distance to Canal Street Recreation Center where you'll find a family friendly swimming pool, horseshoes, bocce ball, shuffleboard, tennis & pickleball courts, game rooms, billiards room and so much more!
You'll feel right at home the minute you open the front door. This home offers a private back yard that is beautifully landscaped giving the lanai a relaxing atmosphere. Stretch out on one of 3 chaise lounges with your favorite book and soak up the warm Florida sunshine! This home has been professionally decorated with hardwood floors through out the home and has an open airy feel with the vaulted ceilings and a sound system in the living room & lanai. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals or entertain new friends. This home was made to Entertain! The living room offers plenty of comfortable seats including a sleeper sofa if a little extra sleeping space is needed, a 55" flat screen TV for your enjoyment and french doors onto to the enclosed lanai. The master bedroom has a high-quality comfortable king size bed, large walk in closet, large flat screen TV and a private master bath. The master bath offers a walk-in shower, his & her sinks and comes with towels and linens. The guest bedroom offers a comfortable queen size bed, flat screen TV and private bath with a tiled tub/shower in it. The backyard is beautifully landscaped and offers a serene setting. I'm sure you'll spend many hours relaxing in the enclosed lanai where you will find another large flat screen TV, comfortable seating and a separate heat & air system. It's the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while reading the paper and planning your days activities or just curling up with a good book with the relaxing sounds of nature. You will also find three chaise lounge chairs in the back yard as well as a table, 4 chairs & a bistro set to enjoy the Florida sunshine or sit and relax with friends before heading off to the FREE nightly entertainment at one of the Town Squares.
This amazing Dog-Friendly home comes complete and includes WiFi internet connection. With the purchase of resident ID cards you can use any of the 29 executive golf courses with no greens fees. And these executive golf courses are not your typical 'pitch & putts'. They present some challenging par 3s and the occasional par 4, with three sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. You pay resident rates on greens fees at the 11 Championship courses. You're also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis & pickle ball courts, basketball courts, sand volley ball and over 1000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.

It was very convenient to pools, rec center, Sumter Landing etc. The home was basically clean but could possibly use a "deep clean". It was decorated very nicely. The backyard could use some "sprucing up". We would consider renting it again.

We never got the ice machine repaired. The villa had wonderful kitchen equipment. I needed two beaters to the mixer. Was a little hard to mix with. Summary: I stayed for 2 months while i was buying and closing on a house in The Villages. The space was perfect for my needs and my dog loved the fenced in backyard. The location is ideal, close to everything. Walking distance to Canal Rec center and pool. Two minute drive to Sumter Landing.

Reviewer Comments: This was our first extended stay in The Villages and this home was perfect! The house was clean, well appointed , bright and modern. The location was perfect - a 5 minute walk to the pool and 20 minute walk to Sumter Landing. Home Away were excellent property managers providing timely communication and responding promptly to all our questions and concerns. We will definitely be back!

It was a beautiful home with a great interior design. A few minor issues, the ironing board was broken but we fixed it and the wet Swiffer for the floors didn't work. Overall with the comfort of the home and all the other amenities these were very minor.

Summary: We stayed for 2 weeks. 2 adults and 2 dogs. The house was clean and nicely decorated. House had all amenities listed. Location is great with quick access to Lake Sumter Square. Yard completely fenced in so dogs were safe on there own outside.
