Positive: Good food and an excellent breakfast. Great location - the garden and river view were a bonus. Nice and peaceful location, but also a good buzz in the restaurant. Room was very comfortable.

Positive: Beautiful property. Set in beautiful grounds . They have some goats you can see which was lovely. They are welcoming of dogs in one of the bars and to stay, although we did not have our dog with us this is great to know for future reference. The decor is spot on. It’s not often you go somewhere and feel so comfortable and this is definitely due to the decor and set up and not to mention ALL of the welcoming staff. The staff were welcoming from the min we arrived , providing smiles , knowledge of the area and general chit chat. This s a really wonderful hotel: restaurant and I would recommend it to anyone. Not to mention … they have fantastic prices for stays with breakfast rather than inflated prices where people would not be able to experience a stay here ! Well done guys ! What an achievement to have created such a wonderful place for people to come and be happy !

Negative: Nothing … some people may not like the squeaky doors and creaky floor boards .. but this is an old character property so this is to be expected !
