Come and relax while you discover nature at its finest at our cabins at Lake Wabaunsee. Lake Wabaunsee is a beautiful, clear, spring-fed lake in Northeast Kansas.
This cabin is a completely furnished luxury cabin that sleeps six on the upper level. The upper level features three bedrooms, two full bathrooms (including an in-suite bathroom in the master bedroom), a spacious living room, an eat-in kitchen, a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, a front entry porch, and a spacious back deck with a scenic lake view.
An added bonus for this cabin is the boat house. This makes an for ideal location in which teenagers can hang out.
The lower level features an additional bedroom and bathroom, as well as a living, dining, and kitchen area. It also features covered and open-air decks which overlook the lake. The lower level can accommodate an additional four people comfortably.The upper and lower floors are always rented only to the same person or group. There has been some confusion, if you rent it you have the upper and lower floors as well as the boat house.

Summary: This place was perfect for our family Christmas. There is enough space that you do not feel like you are on top of each other. The game room was great. It was too cold to use the water toys but it was nice to sit and relax at the deck of the boathouse. Beware there are a ton of stairs to get down there, but my 80 yr old mother in law was able to get down and back. There is a café and bar there at the lake that was good and homey. Jim is quick to answer any messages. He also made arrangements to have the Christmas tree put up for my nephew to decorate. We plan to rent again this summer.

Summary: We stayed at this cabin the Friday and Saturday of the weekend my daughter got married in Alma. It was a great place to get away from all the wedding hustle and bustle. It was very quiet and peaceful. There were quite a few cobwebs we had to break through on the front porch that maybe a quick swipe with a broom might have eliminated but you are at the lake so bugs are to be expected. Otherwise a very nice property!!

Summary: Nice and quiet, nestled in the trees. Access to lake a bit of a trip with the many stairs, but very doable. Beautiful scenery and very relaxing. Lovely home and unique boat house. Cell phone service was questionable, although Wi-Fi in the house helped some. Very friendly people in the area and we would definitely return again sometime!

Summary: not happy with quality. ok for fishing trip not family. Smoke alarms were not working and a worker was there to fix tile while it was rented. did not let us know ahead of time. Host never replied to questions.

Summary: Our family loved our long weekend at this lake house. The house has plenty of room for a large family and the pool table is a great amenity! We didn't stay inside much though as the boat house is a fantastic place to swim and kayak. We will definitely be booking again!

Summary: My family and I had an amazing little getaway at this cabin. It was just perfect for us. We loved the whole cabin and the location. We spent quite a bit of time at the boathouse, the view was beautiful. The cabin had everything that we needed, although I couldn't find measuring cups. We had kids with us, so we utilized the washer and dryer. We enjoyed playing pool, sitting inside of the air conditioned boathouse, grilling and roasting marshmallows for smores and sitting around the firepit. The host was very nice and always responded to my messages. As long as this property is a vrbo, we will be back! We are already planning our next stay. The only downside for us, would have been the many steps down to the boathouse, mainly because of having to carry a 2 year old and 7 month old and all of their stuff. (It's quite steep, but we got our exercise!) My daughters loved kayaking, although getting the kayaks in and out of the water was quite a feat.... it was worth it! We were concerned about whether or not there would be lifevests. We were happy that there were plenty, in all sizes. I highly recommend this property!
