Positive: Really amazing hosts with good communication. Very clean place and the cosiest we have ever had in Sicily. Amazing for a small family gathering, as it's very safe and children can play outside. Beds are comfortable and even a kitchen is enough for basic use. Really recommend!

Positive: If you want to stay on Etna, somewhere quiet and peaceful, this is the place! It is 30 minutes drive to the nearest town with stores/cafes etc to get supplies (the tap water isn't drinkable by the way!) There is lots of good walking through the woods and amazing views of the volcano. The chalet is extremely comfortable and the mattress was perfect!! Marco was extremely helpful, we arrived early and he made the effort to give us access remotely before he could arrive to show us everything personally. We loaded up on firewood and spent 2 days sitting by the fire, and had several visits from the local fox, who is quite timid but very cute and always looking for food! Electricity, WiFi, hot water, heating etc all perfect.

Positive: I liked the location it had especially the fact that it was in a high altitude and it was perfect for summer as the temperature was not hot.
Negative: The cabin was comfortable but it was a bit small for four people. But over all if you want to relax and do BBQ it is enjoyable.

Positive: I really enjoyed my stay at this wooden chalet near Mount Etna. The location was perfect – quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, with no close neighbours, which I loved. At the same time, it was easy to reach by car. The house has a nice mountain-style look and a pellet stove that made the cold nights warm and cozy. There’s also a grill spot outside, and the whole area is fenced, which made me feel safe. Great place to relax and disconnect!

Positive: 1.) Location (~15 mins to Rifugio Sapienza) 2.) Cleanliness 3.) Peacefulness 4.) Responsiveness of the owner 5.) WiFi availability despite of the remote location
Negative: 1.) An extra fee of 15 euros per person (?) was threatened for checking in after 08:00 p.m. This caused us extreme stress and prevented us from enjoying the sunset on Mount Etna. Thus, we switched our route and reached the place at 07:50 p.m. to prevent unnecessary discussion. 2.) (Little) Flooding in bathroom while showering. 3.) No complimentary water. 4.) Electricity outages since electric power is provided by generator
