Positive: A family of 6 plus 1 dog. We loved Bamfield. The Island is a lovely place to visit. Rachel on site was very helpful. .

Negative: We loved Bamfield but be aware that it is really a fishing destination. The house was booked for 5, and we were 6, our mistake, but it is just far too small for anything more than 2 adults and two small children. We ended up leaving early. Also not sure of buildings codes on Bamfield but there is an electricity distribution centre for a number of buildings in the living room at the bottom of an electricity pole.

Summary: Great location in Bamfield.

Positive: The contact with the accommodation was exceptional regarding responsiveness and service. We liked the remote location a lot, especially the West Bamfield Boardwalk.

Negative: The price for the obligatory water taxi appeared quite high to us, so you better arrive at the accommodation fully provisioned to avoid expensive food runs to the other side of the bay.

Positive: A perfect little cottage on the water in Bamfield! Host and staff were very friendly and helpful. SO MANY places to explore and things to do in the immediate area. The surroundings are nothing short of a paradise on earth!

Positive: Excelent location in Bamfield, the cottage we stayed in for two nights is rustic and blending nice with the environment in the area.

Negative: We went for a 3 hours hike when returned late afternoon in our room , the temp inside was bellow 16C so we looked for 20 minutes for a blanket, unfortunately there was not one in the room. We called and asked for a blanket. The answer we received from the lady looking after the resort was to use the queen bed duvet.
