Positive: Interesting and unique location, miles from seemingly nowhere, but so cosy and comfortable. We all felt as though it was our home away from home. It was so easy to access other areas from here, and the scenery is stunning! The added touches from the hosts were appreciated, we even made a picnic lunch and with the thermos and mat etc provided made this just like home. Watching the birds, mice and squirrels was fun too! The barn is well set up and so comfortable, it was hard to leave!
Negative: possibly only the weather!

Positive: A wonderfully comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a stunningly beautiful location. The wildlife in the garden, especially the red squirrels and birds, was a particular highlight. Our hosts were welcoming and attentive, and we had a fantastic week in this tranquil spot.

Negative: An arc light in the living room would have helped when relaxing doing crafts. This would be a luxury not a necessity.
