Summary: Woodhaven allowed for our extended family to all be together… a tall order when you have a large family! Other than the VRBO app making it difficult to communicate with the property manager and to share house info with others, all went well. Thank you for making it a great family trip!!

Summary: We had a big celebration at Woodhaven in Green Valley for my daughter’s 50th. I can’t even begin to describe all the ways this house made our time together perfect. There are plenty of nice rooms beds and bathrooms for everyone. Plus the kidlet’s were happier than happy playing with cousins. They loved the loft room. It was their club house. Adults socialized, played pool, did puzzles and games, took hikes to the lake and to the campground right from the cabin. Napping in lots of comfy recliners was enjoyed by some. An outdoor patio with big table for art and socializing. The kitchen has all the equipment, pots and pans, big frig, and space for lots of cooks and family. The island in the kitchen in proximity to the big dining table is an amazing use of space. It’s big and really keeps the family-together-feeling. We spread out big meals and everyone helped themselves. We fished and rented the duck paddle boat. Lots of us swam in the lake. The cafe in town has really good malts, burgers, fish and chips. That makes the short hike to the lake a full package Family experience. And we spent days just enjoying the time together in the beautiful home in a great location. With a history of its own. Parking was ample. They allowed guests so two of our families stayed at the campground and one in a nearby hotel. They loved the campground — nice big sites, beautiful location.

Summary: Overall our stay was great! We happened to pick the hottest days this summer so we had to borrow a box fan and portable air conditioner which helped during the day when it was over 100 degrees. The nights were cool. We had plenty of places for people to sleep and the kids enjoyed the upstairs loft. We mainly enjoyed the main floor living room/dining room and main floor deck when we were there. Love the roominess of the main floor and the kitchen! All 14 people could enjoy the main floor at once. We would definitely stay again.
