Our house can accommodate 5 people and is located in a quiet, sunny location at 1 150 m above sea level, high above the Salzach Valley, with uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains of Osterhorngruppe, the Tennengebirge, the Hohen Göll, the Unterberg and the city of Salzburg and the Bavarian Alpine foothills.
The modern wooden house is a contemporary interpretation of Alpine architectural tradition using native larch and spruce, generous glass surfaces and floors made of oak and natural stone. The woods used are largely untreated, or inlaid with pollution-free natural resin oils.

Summary: There is nothing to fault the accommodation, it has everything you can imagine and then some besides. Moreover, it is an architectural wonder. The hosts are nice and helpful. At any time of the year the surroundings are suitable for activities.

Summary: This was our second visit and we enjoyed every moment. We love the location being close to Salzburg, but being so far up into the mountains that one can enjoy the panorama, peace and tranquility. Property was once again spotless with every comfort in mind and Wolfgang was again a super courteous host. We can’t wait to return 🌲🦌 😊

Summary: We had a perfect pre-Christmas vacation!! Sabine & Wolfgang are superb & generous hosts, providing lots of local information and providing a personal touch. The property is well equiped, comfortable and spotless with stunnning panoramic views. The beds are comfy and plenty of towels and essentials are provided. We loved the layout of the property, it was perfect for a family of four and the surrounding area is so safe and peaceful. We had a splendid time sledging and going for picnics without having to use the car. The nearest town is a short drive away and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. There skiing resorts are also close if you can bear to leave. We can highly recommmed this accommodation. There is nothing we would change about this property and plan to visit regularly, indeed we have already booked for 2019!

Stylish, fabulous amenities and a location that is peaceful and awe-inspiring. Great for families to explore the local area (thanks for the tip re bike hire in Puch) or couples wanting an escape. The best house we have ever rented in Europe by some considerable distance.

Summary: Thank you to Wolfgang and Sabine for creating such a brilliant property. Visiting with our children, we loved the house. It's really well equipped for a great outdoor holiday. We loved walking in the hills around the house. The location is excellent for accessing Salzburg and the surrounding region and we were able to do lots of day trips. The booking process was smooth and everything was better than we had expected. A great place for a holiday in the hills. We will definitely be back!
