The Space:
Wodalla Horse Farmstay by Tiny Away is situated in the peaceful town of Nyora, South Gippsland. This charming farm stay is close to Olive at Loch, the Great Southern Rail Trail, and Phillip Island—famous for its stunning coastal landscapes and diverse wildlife.
A cozy 190-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and the surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence which is approximately 150 meters away.
Pre-Booked Activities (with 24 hrs notice):
- Horse riding is currently unavailable
- Trail riding is available in Bunyip Forest
- Guests are welcome to meet our farm animals

By car:
- 1 hr 15 min drive to and from Melbourne

Summary: Let me just say the hosts are amazing! So friendly and very very welcoming. We had a little incident with our car and they were there to help us and make sure we’re okay! Now the stay was so cosy and lovely we really enjoyed our stay and the area is perfect for a relaxing break! Thank you to the beautiful hosts for welcoming us and for providing such a great experience! We will definitely return!

Summary: The hosts were fantastic and allowed us to wander the property and see the animals. The horses were amazing and loved a pat. The tiny home had everything you need and the bed was very comfortable. I would only recommend maybe having an electric blanket as the room was freezing and the heater took a very long time to heat the space. The gaming hang out area was a good space to get away from the tiny home to play pool and games. The only part that wasn’t great was that the eco friendly compost toilet had a stench that filled the whole tiny home. I would definitely visit again but maybe in one of the other tiny homes on the property. Thanks Sharon ☺️

Summary: Wodalla is well setup for a break from it all. We enjoyed being surrounded by friendly horses and Peacock Pete was a character too. The location is picturesque and an easy drive to Loch - a quaint town with good food, coffee and shops. We ventured further to Inverloch and Phillip Island. Lovely.
