Summary: The room was not at all as how expected, creaky boards and mirrors not hung on the wall, just left there to trip over. The staff was very friendly so that’s a plus but the experience was not as expected

Summary: Check in could be slightly improved if someone was dedicated solely to the front desk. They seemed a bit rushed off their feet with the event on at the same time. More lighting and grit in the car park would be good too. Because of the event on at the time, it was quite a full car park. Being on my own walking through the dark, slippy car park, I didn't feel the most comfortable. More lighting over signage would be helpful to guide around the car park too.

Summary: Nice room and a really comfy bed, we slept well. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good location and it didn't feel like the middle of a big city like Leicester. Parking was easy.

Summary: The parkland area around the hotel was a nice walk along with the walled garden. The staff was friendly and answered questions patiently. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was lovely.

Summary: very nice old manor house and rooms with high ceilings although rooms were a little dated and bed mattress was past its use by date. Also probably chose the wrong night to stay with a lively wedding going on but I suspect that will be a common experience staying here and probably the hotel is not a best bet for a quiet evening.
