Positive: Was more of a home than a hotel. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. The bathroom was a good size. Unlike a lot of properties I have stayed at this kitchen had a lovely spread of spices and condiments.
Negative: Nothing really. The only small inconvenience was the lack of a dishwasher.

Positive: Very cosy place that feels like a real home. Traditional Icelandic style (my partner says it reminds him of his grandparents' house - in a good way). Makes you feel right at home. Getting the keys was so easy and the location is really good.
Negative: We stayed in the summer so there's no issue. But in wonder I wonder whether it'd a bit cold. One of the bedrooms does not have a curtain and the glass window is probably connected to a storage place in the back. I didn't bring my eye masks so I got woken up by a bit of light in the morning. During winter this would not be an issue at all but during summer, if you are sensitive to light when sleeping, would be a good idea to bring eye masks. But not a big issue really.
