Summary: The owners of this property have done a fantastic job with the use of space, however the bed arrangements require a full review. The mattress was so uncomfortable I had little sleep the first night, and the second night we actually went home because we could not sleep again. The bed clothing also needs to be renewed, as we could not help but think that it was dirty, although it was not! There is also easy access for slugs, and these were constantly found during our stay.

Summary: Stayed at The Barn whilst attending Royal Ascot last week. Absolutely beautiful- stunning location and well situated for Ascot. Views were amazing. Everything provided there for a short stay. Walking distance to pubs and fantastic little cafe called Robyns Nest (approx 30 minute walk). Communication from owner was great from accessing property and during our stay when we needed to contact him. Only negative, which didn’t bother us at all, but wi fi didn’t connect which could be because of rural location but didn’t cause us any issues as had plenty of mobile data which we used. Highly recommend and would happily stay again if attending Royal Ascot.
