Summary: Plenty of parking. Large clean room. Lovely restaurant and the kids love the beanbags and swing chairs outside to relax in. Second stay here, perfect for LEGOLAND.

Summary: Hotel was beautifully decorated and modern in parts, yet old and traditional.in others. Bar and gardens were lovely. Room was really clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were all very friendly.

Summary: Checkin was relatively easy and quick, but little info was provided on how we should checkout in the early morning. The receptionist coughed all over the place though, not very sanitary. Wear a mask if you're ill and working with the public. It's very simple and the considerate thing to do. Our room was a standard double bedroom because that's what was available. It felt rather small, but was fine for one night. The bed linens were clean and neat, as were the towels, which is always good. The tub/shower combo is a bit odd as you can barely move your feet in the shower while bathing due to the shape/slope of the tub walls. It's an accident waiting to happen. The room had tons on cobwebs and dust (would not recommend if allergic). It needs a deep clean and a new coat of paint to cover all the wall markings. Our room neighbors kept trying to get into our room via the adjoining door, which was unnerving. Staff didn't seem to know where to direct us for a table for dinner. Reception sent us to the bar, the bar sent us outside (I was very clear we were there for dinner). Overall, the stay was OK, but a little disappointing. It definitely has room for improvement. We thought a family hotel would be a better experience than the big chains, but that was not the case here, unfortunately.
