Positive: Wind tales is a very stylish little place to stay with great views in Ano Syros and very attentive accommodating hosts. Alexis was very helpful, gave us recommendations and helped us plan our return to Athens.

Negative: It can be very windy there.

Positive: We stayed at this hotel and overall it was a beautiful place 🌊. The staff at the reception were SUPER KIND 😊 and loving ❤️. They made us feel very welcome. From the photos, it seemed like the hotel had sun loungers and umbrellas, but that wasn't the case ☹️. Also, only a few rooms had a sea view 🌊. The place was still beautiful though 🌴. Breakfast wasn't anything special 🙃 - being Italian, we love sweet things 🍰. At breakfast, there was a lady who wasn't too friendly 😐, but the young girl was an angel 😇 and super kind 😊! Overall, the place was beautiful 🌊, and I repeat, the staff at the reception were SUPER KIND 😊."

Positive: We had a wonderful six night stay at Wind Tales in mid-August. The team made us feel very welcome from our first arrival. The breakfast is fantastic - so fresh and the local and homemade ingredients were delicious. We loved our room (Rock) and the communal areas. The team were very helpful with recommendations and organising things around the island (including car rental, reserving sun beds and restaurants). Anos Syros is a beautiful village and really comes to life at night. Thank you so much Wind Tales team - we had a great time and want to especially shout out Tonia and Dimitri for their excellent hospitality.

Positive: Really pretty hotel in charming Ano Syros. Lovely staff with excellent local knowledge, Tonia was very friendly and helpful booking restaurants and taxis. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Breakfast with homegrown produce on the balcony is a real highlight. We hope to come back again!

Negative: Nothing, 10/10, although be prepared for lots of steps in Ano Syros!

Positive: Amazing location in Ano Syros and situated in a location that makes it very easy to take a taxi anywhere else on the island. The operator, Alexis is a true gem of Greek hospitality which shines through with his staff as well, which even includes a porter to help with luggage…making your arrival and departure even more leisurely. The property is extremely well done…it is architecturally stunning but offers all modern amenities. I’m fortunate to continually travel all over the world and have stayed in some very cool hotels…Wind Tales is now ranked among my favorite!
