Positive: The hospitality was exceptional! Great people that made us feel like home, very kind and open to help us with recommendations about our stay. The room was very clean and tidy and there were more amenities that expected. Breakfast was fantastic!

Positive: Manos, who was the host, was absolutely excellent. We were in touch with him throughout the trip, and he made our experience 10x more enjoyable in Syros. He picked us up directly from the port, and gave us a brilliant introduction to the area, brought our bags to the apartment, and gave us some amazing suggestions of what to do in the island. We cannot thank him enough for all he did

Negative: There’s a lot of stairs throughout Syros, and you need to be prepared to walk the walk to enjoy the amazing views. But if you are up for it, we’d absolutely recommend Top Suites Syros. It’s totally worth it

Positive: This FAR exceeded our expectations. The lodging was spacious, comfortable and beautifully curated. The kitchen was stocked with wine and food. The views are jaw dropping. Even better though is the hospitality of the hosts. They picked us up from the ferry terminal and escorted us to lodging even carrying our luggage. While there Manos gave us a two hour tour of the island and its history. Upon our departure Manos picked us up, escorted us to the ferry, showed us where to store our luggage. Read all the reviews, this truly is one of best places we've stayed in our years of travel.

Positive: The location was really very nice. If you travel on foot, you have to climb 300 steps, what is well worth for the view. This might be in summer a little tough. I could not leave the window open over night, because there was only a balcony door. There were a lot of breakfast goodies in the fridge. The neighbourhood was lovely, only Greeks and no other tourist apartment. Panos was extremely friendly and helpful and did always the extra step to make you feel comfortable.

Positive: Our stay in Syros was arguably the best, most comfortable, cleanest and well maintained B&B we’ve ever stayed in. The host, Manos, was waiting at the wharf for us as the ferry boat docked, and quickly and smoothly drove us up the hill to the apartment. It’s not called Top Suite for nothing, as not only is it situated at the very top of a very steep hill, it’s also ‘top’ for the amenities provided….. and the view from the apartment is beyond ‘top’, it’s sensational! For Manos, nothing was too much trouble, and he went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as it could possibly be. When he found out that we hadn’t bothered to rent a car, ( we caught one of the frequent and inexpensive buses to get to the beaches everyday) he offered to drive us in his car on a 2 hour mini-tour of the island….. and on his day off work too! At the risk of making Top Suites so popular that we won’t be able to make a reservation for next year, I’d honestly have to say that I doubt you could find a better place to stay in Syros.

Negative: We didn’t like having to leave!

Positive: The apartment lives up to all expectations: clean, stylish, fantastic view over the city, very calm neighborhood. The nearby parking possibility added an extra level of comfort. The daily room service and the fruits, cheese, etc. for breakfast were great. Manos is a fantastic host who took great care of us at all times. He was always there for recommendations on how to make the best of our stay in Syros. Such a lovely place! Thank you very much!

Positive: Everything. From the moment our host Manos picked us up at the port to the moment he dropped us off to leave Syros everything was spectacular. Top Suites was probably our favourite accommodation. We were welcomed at the port and driven up to the top of the hill and taken to the most beautiful apartment. The views were divine. Manos had the apartment stocked beyond belief- fruits, juices, eggs, cheeses, tomatoes, cereals, breads etc etc. We had breakfast on the verandah outside. Further to this Manos sent us a list of cafes, restaurants, taxi numbers and so forth. He texted us every morning to see if we needed anything. He was a wonderful man- genuine, kind and very calm. Syros was a special island different to all the others we visited. Manos together with his property made our stay unbelievable- we did not want to leave. If you want to visit an island that is really special, very cool, with unique beaches, lots of history& culture and truly amazing accommodation- Top Suites in Syros is the place to be.
