Positive: Farm house style with stone or tiled flooring and creaking floorboards upstairs will please some but not others. Large kitchen with family sized table and large fridge freezer. Dishwasher and gas cooking facilities. Fireplace in living room and quality TV. Downstairs WC useful and two bathrooms. Free parking. Nice welcome by owner.

Negative: Some of our party found it too noisy at night. The washing machine has not worked since before our visit which cost us 24 euro at alternate laundry 10 kms away.

Positive: It was quiet, rural and absolutely wonderful. Just what we wanted - a cottage in the countryside of Ireland far away from traffic and crowds. Now we know that there is a wonderful vegetable stand down the road. Derek gave us tips on where to go. We thoroughly enjoyed the huge house. It was also nice walking to the beach. Linanne’s Lobster Bar was phenomenal.

Positive: This is a dreamy house! It was exactly the Irish countryside experience I was looking for when booking! Gorgeous house, very comfortable with everything you need. There is a trampoline in the backyard that the kids enjoyed, and a treehouse, which he also rents out for people to stay in. The host was simply wonderful, so kind and helpful, and recommended spots to visit. We walked the short distance to the beach both nights to watch the sunset over the ocean. The town has great restaurant options and a grocery store. We ate at Linnane's Lobster Bar both nights because it was so good! The seafood chowder is amazing! The nearby chocolate factory is out of this world. Highly, highly recommend this home!

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like about this place. Out of the 5 of us, it was the most favorited home we stayed in.

Positive: The location is second to none right beside the Flaggy Shore. It is extremely well fitted out, wonderful beds and linen, comfortable , roomy, and spotlessly clean and well presented. Hosts are wonderful, and deservedly proud of this gem
