Positive: We absolutely loved our stay, everything was just perfect. We have stayed many times before, and we will continue to stay for many years to come. The cabin is so cosy and warm, it is very clean and everything is of a very high standard. It’s so very peaceful and the surroundings are just stunning. Our favourite place to stay is here! Thank you for having us and thank you for being a fantastic host! We are also going to miss floppy and her extended family very much, it was a special highlight to see them all again.

Negative: Nothing to fault! Only that we had to leave - we could stay forever!

Positive: The setting of the lodge is wonderful. Very peaceful secluded place that is surrounded by stunning nature. Lots of different birds to observe, we were even fortunate enough to see deer, hares, tawny owls and a barn owl! There are beautiful lakes to walk around with a lovely bird hide equipped with blankets, binoculars and a book to record what you see. Perfect location for a trip into York City. There is a pub just 0.5miles away that serves the most delicious home made pies - lamb and mint was stunning. Highly recommend as a perfect getaway! We had a lovely mother daughters family weekend away 😁
