Positive: I liked being right on the hill. The location is beautiful. The on resort meals were surprisingly good. Has a cool Swiss vibe and the ski hill is the BEST in Wisconsin! It's also within 30 mins of 3 other major ski resorts in the area

Negative: Room was not very sound proof. We were put right next to the bar. Fortunately the bar got quite around my bed time. We also paid a resort fee of $25 on top of our room cost. Not a HUGE deal, but was a surprise. Maybe I missed something in the booking.com description, however this should just be baked into the overall cost. I expect when I pay the amount on bookings, that I'm covered 100%. Parking was also a bit of a challenge

Negative: Rooms were clean with bathrooms updated. Room could have used some chairs.

Negative: The only thing I would note that was a little surprising was the firmness of the bed. It was a memory foam style bed so for some that’s great, others not so much.

Summary: Wonderful stay overall. Hotel room was clean and cozy.

Positive: I liked having the restaurant and bar onsite. The bar/restaurant staff was awesome. Very accommodating since we were not able to leave our pets in our room to go to dinner.

Negative: That you had to pay $50 for each pet just to stay. And non refundable. I get it as a deposit in case they have an accident or if they ruined something. Our dogs were perfectly behaved. We were glad that we could stay with them. $50 per pet is extremely steep.

Positive: Did not partake

Negative: I really did not like the $25 surcharge for amenities surprise. That fee should be in the overall room rate, not added on as a complete unknown addition, while standing at the reception desk. I would have gladly paid the $25 amount as part of the advertised price. White Cap Mountain is a very unique site. Room coffee needs work. The little packets are hard to open and often tear in the process, spilling coffee grounds.
