Positive: Great pub, nicely decorated and the menu looked lovely, though we didn’t eat there. Friendly, polite and helpful staff.

Negative: Breakfast not starting until 8.30 am on Sunday. As we had to leave at that time, we didn’t have time for it. No offer of a reduction to my bill, though we did have coffee while waited to pay the accommodation charge. Bedroom was quite warm and in the middle of July, a thinner duvet would be preferable.

Summary: Lovely accommodation and very good value for money, though a few tweaks would make it even better
