Summary: This is a beautiful hotel and would definitely stay again however I did have to complain about the emergency light in our room that was constantly flashing all night so that kept me awake!!!!! Plus if you go to Breakfast take your own tea spoon because they don't provide them unless you find someone to ask. But apart from a few small issues The bed was very comfy the shower was great the room was very clean and spacious and the food was excellent so I would definitely recommend 👌

Summary: One night stay. Room was a very good size, very good shower and all you need including tea, coffee. Both the evening meal and breakfast were excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I’m in the area. Highly recommended

Summary: Stayed for 2 nights, we weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel room. Even with a wedding party taking place, the room was quiet. All facilities were good and the air conditioning was a blessing.

Summary: Beautiful Inn in a lovely rural location. The property is in excellent condition with all the amenities you could ever need. My room was spacious with a lovely bathroom and the all important air conditioning in this warm weather. I ate in the restaurant and the food wasn’t quite as good as the venue. I had salmon steaks. The recipe and flavours were good but unfortunately the vegetables were a bit too al dente and the boiled potatoes were basically hard. Breakfast was ok. The restaurant needs to be improved up to the level of the Inn itself.

Summary: Booked at last minute to meet our daughter and grandchildren in Matlock over the weekend. Good quiet location with only a 15-20 min drive from Matlock. Price (£63) for 1 night was very good and as a bonus included breakfast which was cooked fresh including coffee etc. The only downside as far as I could see was the carpet of our bedroom was seeing better days and was a bit grubby and could either do with a 'professional steam clean/vac' or be replaced. Other than the above we'd certainly consider staying there again if we visit the area again in the future.

Summary: Very comfortable stay and the service was excellent. We loved it. The only criticism was that you could not make a dinner reservation on the telephone. Had to wait until I got home to make this as it is all done online.
