Summary: Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded. The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return

Summary: This is definitely a highlight of our mini break. Sitting in lady Nightingale's library for breakfast with a great view of the hill is perfect way of relaxing. Plus learning so much of the history from the host. This is my first time of recommend a accommodation.

Summary: Wonderful property at the foot of the Peak District, which has been renovated to a very high standard with original features in abundance. Our host Peter went out of his way to make us feel welcome and shared a lot of interesting stories about this home, which once belonged to the Florence Nightingale family. Beautiful surroundings and a very nice English breakfast in the dining room by the fire. Looking forwards to coming back!
