Summary: Stayed here before ideal location for Braintree town centre with its many good pubs and restaurants. The bar is always busy and the restaurant is usually well attended

Summary: I arrived on Sunday after a lot of driving. I thank the manager whom I asked if they did Lasagne, she said yes and kindly put the order through to the chef, which was a good job as they were a chef down and had to close the kitchen early. Breakfast was lovely on both mornings. Although again on Mon night the restaurant closed at 7pm due to only having 1 chef. I went across the road to Mezze, the food was lovely :-). Cant fault the staff and my room was lovely and bright and very clean. Would definitely stay again. :-)

Summary: The Hotel was ideal for our needs, roughly 10/12 minutes from Railway Station, Shops close by, quiet and a comfortable stay, would stop here again.

Summary: Arrived at the check in desk, pressed for assistance 3 times- no-one came. I then had to go and find a member of the team. I was checked in by the manager who was very friendly and professional. There are a lot of stairs to the rooms, if you have mobility restrictions it could be challenging. I ordered food in the restaurant, for some reason the waiter couldn't find my table, my food was walked around the restaurant at least 3 times despite trying to get his attention before it was delivered to my table. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium, it was cold and more rare then medium. There was no table check done. Took the steak home for my dog.

Summary: Had a nice night spent at the hotel, only let down by a couple of things having to leave the bar as glass wwasher broke down, getting my bar bill wrong and when i asked for orange juice at breakfast got told no more available
