Positive: Location! Main inn ambience (dining room, living room, library). Would love to come back and enjoy the porch/patio.
Negative: Stone steps were difficult to navigate to our room in an adjacent structure. Leaf covered and slippery.

Positive: Great location with a welcoming, efficient staff. The main building appeared to be well-appointed and clean. Breakfast was complimentary and solid. Pleasant guests were interesing and helpful.
Negative: Unfortunately, we were housed in an out-building in a basement below the owner's residence. I believe that it is called the Evergreen Room. We arrived around 4PM and the room was cold. We were told the people above would turn on the heat later (in summary, we had no control of the thermostat). i ventured up the stairs behind tbe headboard and discovered that there was no basement control of the door to the owner's residence (very Air BnB like). The following Sunday AM, the owners decided to unload the dishwasher at 6:38 AM. It was literally 10 feet above our heads and that's how we started our Sunday. To add to our experience, the torso half of the bed was several inches below the foot end of the bed. I rotated the mattress and that was not the answer. We stuffed all available pillows between the mattress and the box spring at 1:00 AM. Not sure what the rooms in the main are like, but avoid this room!
