Positive: Extremely comfortable and well appointed cottage, perfect for our short break in Aboyne. Great location and the cottage was cleaned to a very high standard.

Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like.

Positive: The house is very well situated for exploring the Cairngorms,Balmoral etc.The house is well appointed especially the kitchen .All good for a comfortable visit.Terrace and summer house nice places to sit after a days walking.2 great reserves close by to enjoy . Brenda is a good host making sure we had everything we needed.She left us wine bread,butter and pots of Jam and Marmalade a nice touch.Thanks Brenda.

Negative: We would have liked a 2cnd toilet /cloakroom. Otherwise all very satisfactory

Positive: Property was easy to find, we travelled from Dundee. Quiet area, well kept location. Property absolutely exceeded our expectations it was absolutely stunning. Initial walk in thought was wow this is nice very well maintained, then walked through to kitchen/diner then followed through livingroom/hall bedrooms etc and it just kept getting better and better. Extremely clean and fresh! Large drive way, and entry to property. All extremely well maintained and kept, especially for this time of year can be tricky with leafs falling off tree etc. a little welcome pack was left, with things such as bread/eggs and milk which was very thoughtful and added a lovely touch. We ate in the local bar/restraunt food was excellent. No complaints Not a single bad word to say about our stay here at Westwood cottage, will absolutely be booking again and recommending to friends and family.
