Summary: The house was in a great location. It was very peaceful and yet still close to the main highway where all of the activities and stores were. Plenty of room in the house for all 7 of us.

Summary: The property was very clean. Parking was extremely limited. Was very hot there were no air conditioners only fans but they did not help much. We were caught in a unexpected rain storm in York and we’re contacted by Allison they had let the neighbor go into shut the windows and were also told the neighbor took a video. That was unacceptable. Our belongings were all in there. Everything was fine when we got back but felt violated that the neighbor took a video while in the cottage shutting the windows! Will not be re renting.

Summary: Property is very close to the beach and was described accurately in the listing. Kitchen and some of the kid’s stuff (highchair) weren’t cleaned well. Neighborhood is nice and view of marsh was lovely. Bring bug spray. Only other complaint was that the house is missing a lot of basic amenities like new pots/ pans, grill utensils, etc. We ended up borrowing supplies from a very generous neighbor.

Summary: This home was very clean and welcoming and situated on a very quiet street off the main beach road with beautiful views of the marsh. The kitchen was very well stocked. Don't expect to put together a gourmet meal, but you'll have the essentials for lobsters and summertime fare. Having a high chair was a nice plus for us for the little one. The home was just a few blocks walk to the entryway to the beach. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful both leading up to our stay and for questions after we checked in. The only drawback is the fact that this rental is a part of a duplex - depending on who the guests are on the other side - you may or may not experience noise (sound travels and you can hear people walking around the home) and there is little privacy outside the home. Hints: check the tide charts for the time of your stay if you're looking to spend a lot of time at the beach and park at a slight diagonal so that the four cars (total) for both units can get in and out easily. Overall, I would recommend this rental for a peaceful time in Maine.

Summary: We had a great week at Marshview North. So convenient to be a short walk to the beach. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful views of the marsh. A bonus was having a pack n play for kids and also beach cart and boogie boards. Would definitely stay again at this property. Thank you!

Summary: We have been renting from Barbara for years now and can't imagine a better place to be. The home is comfortable and has EVERYTHING you would need but all the details that are there make it feel like a true beach house. The back deck has a beautiful view and at night you can hear the ocean when upstairs in the front bedroom. It is clean and kept updated every year...Perfect place for family vacations!

Summary: Great place to stay! Clean, quiet, cute decorations, and very comfortable. Central to many Maine attractions and restaurants. The owner is very helpful and always available to answer questions. We stayed with 7 people and had plenty of room. Beach is just a walk away. I would recommend to anyone and hope to stay there again. Thank you for pleasant place to stay!
