Positive: Very convenient location. CVS right next-door, which was very helpful for us. It was also very quiet.

Positive: Very pleasant staff. Great price and well located for me. I kind of liked staying in a small cottage (i.e. a 1-room-plus-bathroom freestanding building); it was an interesting new experience. I liked not sharing my walls with other people, and it was big enough for a solo traveler not spending much time in the room. Wifi was available, though I had to call to get a password. I thought the bed was fine.
Negative: I was surprised that there isn't 24-7 staffing onsite. Responses to phone calls were quick and pleasant but I'm used to someone actually being in the office. Not much storage space. TV didn't work (though I didn't call to see if it could be fixed).

Positive: Location to Newport about a 20 minute drive. Room was clean, motel is older, bathroom has been updated, very hot water for shower. Microwave and fridge. Enough outlets to charge your electronics
Negative: Bed was very hard. Carpet was clean but some areas torn. Room had a musty smell

Positive: The room was clean and bug free
Negative: The Cable/tv was not consistently working and needed to reboot the box every hour or two. The room was very small and would not be comfortable more than one or two people. There were no vending machines or any access to ice or anything besides tap water. No microwave or small refrigerator.
Summary: Good only if you need a place to sleep while traveling alone.

Negative: There was no place to hang your clothes. Hooks would have been helpful. They didn’t have tissues. Not big things, but would have welcomed them.
