Summary: This us the 3rd time in two years that we have stayed at the Weetwood hotel. We love this hotel as it is close to our son's dormatory at RIASA. The rooms are vety comfortable and very clean. We LOVE ending our dats at Stables Pub and especially enjoy the bartender there, Chloe. She always makes us feel "at home".

Summary: The hotel is in a good location, close to pubs, restaurants and various tourist attractions. It has a country hotel feel being set in beautiful spacious grounds with ample parking (details must be registered!) My room was a little cramped with a comfortable bed and around the window bare York stone was a nice touch. The bathroom was a decent size with ample storage space. Most of the staff were friendly, polite and professional although conflicting information was given regarding offers on the catering in the hotel. The meals and drinks were a bit pricey but the room rate exceptional value.

Summary: Booked the hotel as near to where I wanted to visit. From check-in to check-out I was very impressed. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Will use again as a first choice if I am in the area again.

Summary: I had 1 night here & was quite disappointed, perhaps my expectations were higher after reading other reviews & it being a 4 star hotel. I travel a lot & personally wouldn’t put it on par with other 4 star hotels. A lot of reviews mention how clean it was but I walked in to find the toilet seats up in the bathroom & obvious signs it had been used & not flushed properly. However, after a 3 hour drive, I needed it myself so whilst I regret not raising it at the time (partly as I didn’t feel particularly welcomed when I arrived), I simply couldn’t wait. The room was also very dusty & visibly so, perhaps from the room being vacant a while since its last clean? The kettle, spoon & glass (with greasy fingerprints) on the amenities tray were unclean & covered in dust too so put me off making a drink. The safe was in the corner of the room on the floor, it was locked shut & unable to be used. The room also stated it had a laptop workstation but as the only usable surface in the room, it was crowded & didn’t really leave much room for a laptop. The ratio of the wooden stool & height of the desk also meant you couldn’t work at the desk comfortably as the desk was a fair way above elbow height when seated. Despite the thin mattress topper, I could feel the springs of the mattress in the bed & there was also quite a bit of banging noises around midnight so didn’t make for the best sleep. I also wasn’t asked about my stay when I left or I would have raised some of these issues then.

Summary: Whole hotel was spotless. Room was spacious and was actually able open a window on a hot evening where plenty of other don't have tgat option. Dom went above and beyond to make sure all our guests had everything they needed.

Summary: Lovely location and convenient for visiting Headingley Stadium.The man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and we had a bed upgrade, from a single to a double which was lovely, although the view was not good (looking out the back, where staff go for their break). We did not have enough cups for the number of people in the room but this was rectified as soon as we let them know along with extra biscuits, which was nice. The food in the restaurant was ok but very expensive. The pub was pleasant with live music and the courtyard was lovely to sit in especially as the weather was hot. Breakfast was good, a wide range to choose from, although the food did run out quickly and there was a little wait for things to be refilled. The hot drinks were delivered to you and again there was a little wait for this. Check out was quick. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend booking this hotel.
