Summary: If you are staying in the Grants Pass area and are looking for a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. THIS IS IT! The pictures don't do it justice. The lodge is steeped in local history. It is rustic but well preserved and updated. The grounds are lovely. The breakfast each morning was delicious (Scott makes a mean biscuit gravy). Happy hour snacks were varied and just perfect for pre-dinner fare. Local wines and beer are served as well. We stayed in one of the outer cabin groups which had a balcony looking over the irrigation canal path and the Rouge River in the distance. Super nice to sit out in the morning for coffee. We are going back next year.

Summary: Second stay here had a room in the lodge four years ago, it was great. Had a cabin this time and it was great. This is my go to stop now for South Central Oregon. Everything is top flight. It’s a historic property beautifully maintained. They do an excellent appetizer/happy hour that shouldn’t be missed, offering good local craft beers and wine at reasonable prices. Breakfast is also well served.

Summary: Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent. Happy hour delightful. Property was beautiful. Our room was very nice. The only challenge was how tall the bed was. There was a small footstool on one side, but nothing on the other side. Other than that, a great stay.

Summary: Great place to stay, the one and only drawback is the cancelation policy. Forfeiting the entire cost of your stay is a bit steep, unless it is the day of, we didn't cancel, but had a travel hiccup so looked into the possibility a few days out from our stay, which is when we realized the cancelation policy was so harsh. We do plan to stay again at a future date.

Summary: We love this property. We stay down in the cabins. The wagons that are there are great to get your luggage down to your cabin. Love the porches on the cabin to just sit and relax. The happy hour is great along with the cookies and smores. Staff is always wonderful.

Summary: Room was clean and cozy, fresh cookies were delightful and the scenery was gorgeous!! There was a “path” that went down to the river and we were swarmed by mosquitos. That’s on us for exploring a bit too much lol. Overall we had a lovely time and would definitely return :)
