Noa's Maison is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday with all the essential amenities 5 minutes drive from the property.
This 85m2 barn has been converted to provide generous living accommodation which is both comfortable and cozy. With an additional 70m2 terrace/porch looking out to a big garden filled with fruit trees. The whole property is surrounded by sunflower and cornfields in the summer.
Noa's Maison is a self-catering accommodation that has all that you need to enjoy your stay.
However if you would like it’s possible to order a delicious homemade meal prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients delivered right to your terrace.
Inside and out the gite reflects it's own exceptional character and is ideal for families or couples.
Good to know... we are a 15 min. drive from a Thermal Bath centre in Jonzac with dedicated cure facilities.
And only 5min away from an excellent outdoor swimming pool , for a lovely fresh swim.
We live on site in an adjacent house to the Noa's Maison accommodation. We are happy to recommend places to visit during your stay or nearby restaurants for the evening.There are surrounding vineyards for cognac and pineau tasting or if you prefer to stay on-site and have a game of Jeux de boules/petanque any time during the day or evening!
Some nice places to visit:
*Bordeaux - Beautiful city to visit , which is less than an hour away.
*La Rochelle - 1hr 30minutes but has everything from shopping to yachts and a very large aquarium to keep the kids occupied.
*Cognac - This historical town is 30mins to the north and well worth visiting to go on a distillery tour and also has a growing reputation as a town hosting many film and music festivals.
*Angouleme - A cathedral town about an hour away, which hosts the Centre National De la Bande Dessinee de l'Image, museum’s and multimedia, centre dedicated to comic strip art and cartoons.
*Jonzac - Features "Les Antilles de Jonzac" a Spa centre with quality activities & facilities for the whole family, only 15 minutes drive.
*St George de Didonne/Royan - The sun, sand and sea are less then an hour away and these holiday beach resort towns can be enjoyed by all the family.
*Bassin d Arcachon/Dune Du Pila - Has the highest sand dune in Europe will take 1hr 30mins but the breath taking views will make it worth while.
*Saintes - A river town 40 min. away full of roman history marked by the remains of the Amphitheatre and Arc of Germanicus. Take in the sights with a boat trip on La Charente river.
*Royan - Take the children for the day to La Palmyre Zoo which has more than 1600 different species of animals and 14 beautiful landscape gardens in 44 acres of ground.
*Poitiers - Visit Futuroscope theme park which is a great for all the family and has many attractions and shows for a fun packed day.
There is also Le Chateau des Enigmes in Pons which is primarily an outdoor treasure hunt for young kids and canoeing at Brantome which can be enjoyed by all the family. There is a flying club in Jonzac where you can fly a small aircraft with a qualified pilot for 40mins at a reasonable price for adults and children.
It is essential to have a car to get around. If flying it is better to rent a car at the airport. Our property is 45 min. from Bordeaux airport.
Not to be missed Marche nocturne an evening in the bustling night market at Montendre & Jonzac & St. Georges de Didonne during the summer ( july - August). Here you can try the many freshly cooked platters of food with a bottle of wine all made and sold by the local traders.
The entry into the premises is after 16:00
All Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. (except beach towels)
Noa’s Maison has his own entrance and private parking.

-Cleaning on Departure: The accommodation must be left in a similar condition as found “clean & tidy”
-We have a strict no smoking policy in the accommodation but have no problem with guests smoking outside on the terrace.
