Summary: This quaint beautiful old hotel has several resturaunts and pubs, because we booked online, we were delegated to a room on the 2nd floor. The elevator doesnt stop on the second floor. The room was large The carpet was dirty, you had to turn sideways to get past the bathroom sink to go use the toilet. Tile was missing from the floor. The short single sink vanity had a chip on the side. The bathroom appeared to have been installed in the 1980s. The mattresses felt like they were even older. My friend booked through the hotel, she got a room on the 4th floor, with nice much newer mattress. Spacious sitting area and large bathroom with double sink.we chose this hotel because my husband had stayed here about a month ago. At that time the elevator didnt stop at the second floor. He enjoyed the restaurant and the pub.

Summary: The hotel is older but it is not a cookie cutter chain .. it has charm and a great feeling about it ! Everything was clean .. just an old building and the little inconveniences that comes this this type of place. We enjoyed the stay a lot.

Summary: The people that work there are very friendly. The bed was pretty old and I woke up with a bad back. The shower is a little small, but the room has a nice old-timey feel to it. Set the thermostat early in the day so it doesn't knock on all night and keep you up.

Summary: There was only a half of a roll of toliet paper in bathroom with no extra rolls. No wash cloths. Had to carry luggage up two flights of stairs which wasn't ideall as I have back issues. But other then that the hotel was great.

Summary: The moment we entered the hotel, we had a wonderful homey feeling. The room was spacious and clean. The only problem was the elevator was not working. We had to walk up on set of stairs. Luckily we were on the second floor. Any higher and there would have been a bigger problem. We will be back.

Summary: It was good, the best part was the nice hot water and the water pressure, and the bed was comfortable. The bad part was the people upstairs were very noisy, there was no phone, no alarm clock, no extra blankets and I thought the room that I reserved was a king deluxe and it was just a room with a bathroom and a king size bed, your ads for the rooms are very misleading. Will we stay again, probably because now I know what to expect and what to bring with us. Overall it is a very nice place to stay, very quaint with a lot of unique history.
