Positive: Location and the grounds were excellent.

Negative: Faulty carbon monoxide alarm. It went off on the first morning. Couldn’t get it to stop. Made several calls to Vacasa but no one ever came to fix it. Dishwasher didn’t work. Back porch screen door was not operable.

Summary: A good stay-it’s a great resort. Very disappointed with unit 105, the condo we rented.

Positive: Location acceptable. Condo was clean.

Negative: Communication between VACASA and Wavecrest was not good. I got multiple emails for weeks from both organizations before we went, despite having already paid for the room. We didn’t have sheets for the pullout bed for my daughters. Wavecrest was OK, but I would never book through Vacasa again.

Negative: No elevator and the room was on the 3rd floor. Very difficult to manhandle our luggage.

Positive: The gardens outside my balcony were absolutely beautiful. The setting of the property on the beach provided beautiful views of the ocean with palm trees swaying in the breeze and the islands of Maui and Lanai in the distance. Birds singing and roosters crowing everyday. I absolutely loved it and I would love to return!

Negative: Unfortunately, I have a back issue and I am not able to sleep on a pillowtop mattress. Therefore, my only option was to sleep on the sofa and not made out like the bed; just the sofa.

Positive: The pool area was great - it sheltered the wind perfectly so we could enjoy the windy days in the sun. Quiet spot (minus the roosters). The condo itself had a ton of space and great views.

Negative: No a/c - luckily the nights were breezy and cool so we didn't need it, but it could be an issue during warmer weather. Lots of rules at this condo unit. We didn't have any issues, but you have to fill out a lot of paperwork.
