Positive: Room was great with plenty of space, super comfy bed, large ensuite & a great view. Excellent hospitality, the breakfast was second to none with plenty of choice/options. Leonie was more than accommodating in preparing breakfast to any request I had. Amazing conversations with our hosts & other guests at breakfast. Good quiet location very close to Hobart with cute pandelons hoping around & gorgeous furry bubble bees. I would highly recommend staying at Waterview Gardens.

Positive: Leonie was very welcoming and even went out after our arrival to purchase lactose free Yogourt. Our room (Bruni) was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed watching the antics of the pademelons on the lawn at dusk and dawn. It was a short drive away from the tavern in Margate, where we dined on fresh Tassie scallops. Our early breakfast (07h30) was delicious - yoghourt, fresh berries, cereals, home-made bread and conserves - and an ideal start to our half-day trip to Bruny Island. Full breakfast is also available.

Summary: A very comfortable and enchanting spot in Margate with decor reminiscent of Europe.

Negative: Not much . The sheets on the bed were a bit different . OK but would prefer cotton sheets , not linen . Seemed to be rough to touch .

Positive: The place is in a beautiful location with fantastic views. Our host Lioni was excellent in making Shue we were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the room was very comfortable with a nice bathroom and a balcony to enjoy a cuppa while enjoying the beautiful view.

Positive: Absolutely fantastic place to stay with superb views over the bay. Those with an interest in wildlife are in for a treat we counted 11 pademelons at night on the lawn literally just under our balcony. Couldn’t ask for a nicer host either. All in a perfect place to stay especially like us you wanted to visit Bruny.
