Positive: The 2nd and 3rd level was clean and comfortble. The outdoor deck and water access was picturesque.

Negative: It was advertised as spa but 2 or 3 weeks before arrival we were told terms changed and no longer had the jacuzzi available and on top of that the property is for sale therefore may be sold and possibly change our ability to stay at all. That after our initial reservation locked us into a contract without refund. Did not appreciate that at all. And by the way, they didn’t inform us that you couldn’t explore shoreline past property lines and the rude and shouting neighbor without provocation other than going over the property line because there was no big sign saying to stay out threatened one of calling the police. That’s on the arrival day which made the rest of our time unpleasant to even enjoy the property. We were offered 25% discount just on the price of the house, not fees applied to full price, which we appreciated. But what was once a staff responsive to questions we had during our stay all of sudden went silent come time to pay the 25% they promised. I kept reaching out, via phone and booking.com messages asking when the refund would come and for more than a week I didn’t hear anything back. It wasn’t until I put a complaint with booking.com that all of a sudden the refund was sent. And, there we spider webs in the bunk bed rooms that my daughter ended up sleeping on the living room couch. The under beds were filthy as well. And the basement was not all that welcoming especially after the use of the spa jacuzzi was taken away from the house experience. A below average experience…sadly.
