Summary: Overall the place was great, clean, and comfortable for 8 adults & 3 kids. There were 4 kayaks & 2 bikes we used & a small swing set that was perfect for the kids (all under 5). Kitchen and grill worked well for what we needed & the location next to Old Saltys was great to listen to music in the back yard! One important thing to note is that it isn’t really waterfront - more water adjacent. You have a clear view to the bay, but there is not any beach area for kids & you can’t access the dock unless you go back down the driveway & up the road to another driveway, probably about a 10 minute walk with the kids. The road isn’t too busy but there isn’t a sidewalk, so not ideal for little ones. I think this is a new dynamic, since the house next door recently sold & the new neighbors are unwilling to share use of their walkway across their yard. Neighbors on the other side have a small beach that is pictured in the listing, but that is now also fenced off & marked as private property. Highly recommend bringing a small pool if you have little ones!

Summary: This location was great! The perfect remote place to unwind and relax and play games with family all while being on the waterfront. We took full advantage of all that this property has to offer from the dock to the sandy beach areas to sunsets, fire pit nights, family games on the porch and lawn, and live music at old salty’s. Don’t forget to order a bushel of local crabs…. They were spectacular!! Both Cassidy and Kelly were great to deal, answered all of our questions, and were super helpful and had great recommendations. THis is a great area to explore, all of the people that we met were genuine and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this location as your family’s next getaway.

Summary: We had a great, relaxing time here! The house was very spacious, and we took advantage of its proximity to the water. We also got to enjoy the shaded back patio and the fire pit. Kayaking out on the water was a highlight as well. It was perfect for a big group looking for a low-key weekend on the bay. We would love to return!

Summary: We had a really nice time at this property. It was as advertised and nicely decorated and there was ample space. The small “beach” was perfect for small kids and if you like sea glass it has TONS. The kitchen was good enough and had plenty of stuff. He owner brought us something that was missing and was very responsive. All Around nice stay and would recommend.

Summary: Our family stayed here for a last minute summer trip. It was so worth it. We brought along our two Aussies who enjoyed the private beach area just as much as the kids did! With younger kids the bay was the perfect “beach” for them without the harsh waves of the ocean. The home itself was gorgeous and had everything you needed. We enjoyed the kayaks during our stay and found so many beautiful shells and sea glass!
