Looking for a great spot for a quiet getaway? Our waterfront guest house is the perfect place. Sit back on the screened-in porch and take in the excellent view of the lake, or head down to the dock to fish or swim. Bring your boat and spend your days on the water! The Charlotte area has plenty of attractions, including the Charlotte Motor Speedway and other racing attractions, Panthers football games, Hornets basketball games, concerts, museums and more. In the evenings, come back and fix a great meal with the stainless steel appliances or the outdoor grill, and settle in for a movie on one of the new Ultra HD TV's. You're sure to enjoy a relaxing stay here!
The Space:
The guest house has newer furniture, appliances, electronics, and more.
The bedroom is spacious and quiet, with a large closet and dressers and a high-end television.
The bathroom includes all the necessities (soap, shampoo, etc.), and has a stand up shower. Please note that there is no tub.
The living area is nicely-appointed, with new furniture and a high-end television. If work calls, there is a desk and high-speed Internet access available to all of our guests. See the pictures for the results of a recent speed test. The sofa has a pull-out bed for additional sleeping capacity if needed.
The kitchen has newer stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Spend the evening creating a perfect meal, and enjoy it on the outdoor table on the screened-in porch overlooking the lake.
Guest Access:
Guests have full exclusive access to the entire guest house as well as the screened-in porch. There is a lower deck beside the guest house where guests can access their own private gas grill. The dock is available to all guests for swimming and fishing anytime. My family also uses the dock, so this is a shared space. One boat slip (not covered) is available for guests with boats 25' or smaller. Boats will need to be launched at a nearby public boat ramp, which is only about four miles away by land and right across the cove by water. Parking is available next to the guest house for up to two vehicles. Additional vehicles (including a boat trailer) may be parked on the property, but will be further away from the guest house.

My family and I live in the main house on the property, so we are available to assist if any issues arise during your stay.
Guests will be required to climb one set of exterior stairs in order to access the guest house. There are also a few stairs that lead down to the sidewalk to the dock.
There is a stand-up shower in the bathroom, but there is no tub.
Please keep in mind that our property has a strict no smoking/vaping policy. This applies to our entire property, including not only the guesthouse, but also the porches, patios, dock, and any other part of our property.

Summary: Loved being on a cove. Very peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed fishing and reading on the deck. Very clean and enjoyed all of the amenities. Would like to come back next year.

Summary: Overall, we thought this place was ok. Tons of space in the updated, clean guest home. Only concern inside was that the sleeping area in the bedroom seemed really stuffy. The ceiling fan was way across the room. Outdoor spaces were more neglected and rustic. We enjoyed being outside though on the patio and dock, although they could be better maintained. Wear shoes on the dock. Close proximity to stores and boat rentals. The cove is very quiet, water is very deep so bring floats/life jackets for swimming. Hosts live on site and although they never really interacted with us, they were responsive when we had issues or questions.

Summary: We could not have enjoyed our weekend at Lake Norman more. We were attending a wedding and this little guest house was the perfect place to spend our downtime. Beautifully decorated and comfortable with a perfect screened in porch overlooking the lake. Serenity. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We look forward to returning.

Summary: This guest house was just as described. Very clean, excellent location! Sitting on the screened in porch was the best, even during a hurricane. We didn’t have the best weather, but still enjoyed our stay very much. Thank goodness it didn’t rain during the football game. I would definitely stay again.
