Summary: Exactly as described, the cottage is cozy and spacious. The location is secluded but close to town. The waterfront is wonderful. As an artist, I loved the rocky beach and clear water. My sons enjoyed the paddle boarding and everyone enjoyed the evening camp fire. The kitchen is clean and well stocked. The welcome bottle of wine and cheerful card from Dan and Lesley was much appreciated. Thanks for a great holiday!

Summary: Secluded gem near the tip of Bruce Peninsula. Spectacular sunsets on a rocky shoreline. We enjoyed many of the excellent amenities offered. It’s minutes from Tobermory and other attractive destinations. The cottage is beautiful inside and out, and well stocked with all the conveniences. Super clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!

Summary: I gave the Waterfront Cottage a 5 star review because, admittedly, it is a 5 star property. However, I considered giving a much lower rating due to the fact that nowhere in the listing did it say I needed to bring my own bed linens and bath towels. Luckily, I read another review and emailed Dan the day before we arrived, so the crisis was averted. My only other issue was with the cleaning requirements. They seemed a little excessive, and again, not explained in the listing, only when you arrive. Having said all that...we were extremely impressed with the property! The view is spectacular, the beds are very comfortable, the place was spotless, and the extras (we only used the kayaks) were great! The beach is shale, so bring water shoes/flip flops for water access. Would I stay again? 100% absolutely. Our family had a fantastic, peaceful stay.
