This 2500 sq ft home has a spacious layout inside and outside; it is a waterfront property with a private dock and lift onThompson Bay with access to Shoal Bay and the Arkansas River; it is the perfect choice for a fishing trip or lake trip to enjoy your friends and family. PAVED ROADS and boat ramp less than half a mile from house!!!!!

Summary: This home was perfect for our annual girls trip! Plenty of space for everyone and very relaxing and beautiful. The house was stocked with everything we needed and Lindsey was quick to respond if we had any questions.

Summary: This was a perfect location for a family vacation! We stayed here with another family and all piled in. It’s much more ideal for only 1 family (1 master suite and the other bedrooms are all clustered together, 1 you have to walk through to get to a back bedroom), but we made it work. There’s lots of great spaces outdoors in particular to hang out. Just be prepared if you come in the summer for all the plethora of bugs that come along with being near so much water! The shoreline is bigger than we were expecting and the kids had a blast swimming off the dock and having space a little ways down to play along the shore. We were able to take kayaks all around the coves and near the river and the scenery is gorgeous. You’re an hour or less drive from multiple state parks, hiking, waterfalls, and lots to do!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay on Thompson Bay. The floating dock was excellent for fishing with lights and a place to charge our boat batteries. The deck off the living room was another of our favorite spots. It did thunderstorm a couple of nights, and the bedroom on the lower floor was very quiet and secure. There are lots of steps/stairs, so be aware. This is a great fishing/recreation, destination with lots of room. If you are bringing a boat, I would suggest dropping it at the ramp, which is very close, and bringing it down to the dock, since the turn around was a bit of a challenge with our 18ft boat. I can't say enough about our hosts. They communicated very well, and answered all our questions. Thanks for making our week wonderful and relaxing!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our plans were a bit last minute as traveling from MN in winter is always tricky. Lindsey was very accommodating with our quick reservation and as we extended our stay an extra day. The home was lovely with many amenities. And the scenery was beautiful! Looking forward to staying during warmer weather when we can enjoy the water!
