Positive: Room and fireplace were spectacular. TV was OK. Soaking tub was lovely.

Negative: Recommend booking a river view room, it will be quieter.

Positive: We liked the location and the historic aspect of the hotel.

Negative: The bed was uncomfortable and the furniture was ripped, faded, and shabby. Also, the lighting was very dim in the room, and the shower dripped all of the time.

Summary: Decently comfortable, but overpriced for the value.

Positive: Great location, nice rooftop bar, appealing exterior and lobby, room furniture dated but fit the atmosphere, HOT water, shower soap dispensers, good AC, nice balcony, good WIFI, quiet for sleeping

Negative: Room whirlpool tub could use some TLC, bed was ok, junky storage view off our water street balcony, cheaped out on the shower decor, bathroom fan loud (get a switch to separate light from fan, toilet ran off and on while sleeping

Positive: I love the history of the property, and we had a beautiful view of the river from our room!

Negative: The balcony furniture and railing was covered in spiderwebs, so we couldn’t enjoy sitting outside. It was disappointing.

Positive: Loved the location of the property and the spaciousness of the room

Negative: The room did not feel particularly clean. The bathroom was very outdated for the price of the room with a very small shower and old finishes. The chairs in the room were evidently only for looks. They were 'antique' looking and quite wobbly with worn out cushions. And, I kind of resent paying $20 to park in an open lot.

Summary: I would not return to this hotel. I thought it was overpriced for the quality of room and service
