Summary: We stayed in the Carriage House and it was awesome! Very private, clean, bed was comfy. Three sided fireplace and jacuzzi tub made the night. The house was nice and were able to see 3 of the 4 suites which was nice. The only thing that was different from the dozens of other B7B's or Inns we have stayed at is there is no interaction/getting to know the owners.

Summary: The Aurora Staples Inn is a fantastic B&B, one of the best. The accommodations in the St. Croix Suite is spectacular, with antique furniture, in room fireplace, huge suite space, and amazing linens and decor. We appreciate the hassle-free checkin, host greeting, and the ease of parking and location to downtown. We will stay here every time we visit Stillwater.

Summary: The mattress in our room was soft and lumpy. We both experienced back pain after sleeping on it. The owners were very nice and responsive, the house is beautiful and beautifully decorated and furnished, the other guests were very friendly, parking was easy, and you could easily walk downtown. If they can fix the mattress issue, they would get a 5 star rating from us.

Summary: This establishment is situated in an old restored home. It still has the original wooden floors, doors and fixtures. Internet access was very simple and worked perfectly. Location of this house is within walking distance of Main Street, home to many restaurants and antique shops. A walkable linear path over the lift bridge. Very good customer service. We experienced a power outage which lasted 5 hours. We received a partial refund. Even though it did not affect us, a tree was blown down during this recent storm. It was clear out before midday. Would recommend this place for quiet stay.

Summary: Aurora Staples was very quaint, with beautifully preserved Victorian architecture. It was clean and quiet, and within walking distance to restaurants and shops downtown. Rachelle was a wonderful and accommodating hostess. My husband and I would definitely stay there again.
