Summary: The Warwick has a great location between Nadi and Suva, close to cultural and natural attractions. Sigatoka Market is well worth visiting, and buses, taxis and rental cars make exploring easy. Its beach is also far better than those around Nadi. Unfortunately, the hotel itself does not match other five-star alternatives. It is visibly ageing, overcrowded and poorly equipped for its number of guests. During bad weather, the unheated pools were freezing, forcing everyone into the jacuzzi. At times, around 20 cold children were packed into it, and the water looked oily and unpleasant. If rain or temperatures below 25°C are forecast, forget the pools. Compared with other hotels such as Sofitel... really bad. There were queues for the buffet, queues for dessert and even reservations required for buffet seating—a truly five-star queuing experience. The Japanese restaurant was the only venue that felt worth the price. Staff also refused us empty seaside tables because they were supposedly “reserved”, never used. Sun loungers were almost impossible to find. For a resort with over 200 rooms, the shortage was astonishing. The Kids Club staff were good, but sessions last only two hours, leaving little time for parents to genuinely unwind. No mystery why I never made it to the spa. The hotel was also very noisy, and we called security several times after 10 PM. A good beach and location, but not five-star maintenance, capacity or service. Would I return? Not at a five-star price.

Summary: Stayed 4 nights in a Club Room in August. The balcony floor tiles had not been cleaned as still had spills from previous occupants; shower was not clean as it should be. Property has lovely gardens, but there is no attention to detail. The rubbish bins by the adult pool were not emptied during our stay, pool lounger covers stained and grubby, and food and drink stains on tiled pool surrounds. The pool itself was clean but surrounding areas around the pool were never cleaned or hosed down. Buffet was ok and dining at the restaurants, food was generally good. Staff were sometimes overwhelmed when it was busy. One evening at the Sunset Bar one staff member was trying to put cushions out on all the chairs and sofas while guests were trying sit down, which ended up with guests sitting on cushion backs instead of cushion seats. Another evening one of the managers was sitting down one end of the bar in the Hibiscus Lounge doing admin work, which is not a good look. The tables in this lounge had not been wiped clean. This is advertised as 5 star, but it is not, it is average. There should be Managers in place, who check the standard of cleaning, even the stairs up into the restaurants/bar areas were dirty, how hard would it be to hose down.

Summary: For the price it needs to pick it up. Aus$650 The negatives. The shower runs warm to very hot every 30-60 secs Breakfast is pretty bad long queues for eggs no bacon just very basic and crowded You can’t get water at the gym. It sounds like a moan and I guess it is but for that money. I expect a lot better.

Summary: Had a good holiday at the Warwick. 3rd time back there. Food was disappointing this time. Buffet breakfast wasn’t as good as the last times. Staff are wonderful. Sunset bar was closed for Reno’s which was a pity as we enjoyed going there last time. Such a beautiful spot and nice snorkeling straight infront of the resort.

Summary: Breakfast is included which was a huge array of different foods and you could bring small Tupperware to take some “extras to-go” to munch on later! ;) The water snakes are NOT poisonous. Staff is great and helpful. There was an adult pool tha seemed more for Seniors. The main pool was nice, even with the week-behaved kids for the adults to hang out at with the swim up bar. The hibachi restaurant is awesome and so is the one on the little island for seafood! Make sure you make reservations in advance for the dinner! The waterfall close by is closed so I highly recommend you do the RIVER TUBING where they take you to a huge waterfall about an hour away from the hotel!!!! (Ask the hotel staff that scheduled events - brochure pic is included in my review) They have a salon and do an amazing job for hair services. They washed and braided my hair for a reasonable amount. The braiding here is exceptional! They use very good quality products and the braiding was FAST! Make sure to book with them! :) Book your travel to/from the airport in advance. We took the bus for $15 Fiji $ but took almost 3hrs with the bus stops.
