Summary: Excellent place to stay next to the glow worm cave. Quiet and peaceful.

Summary: The lodge is a bit dated. I was lucky to be alone in a room, otherwise we would have been a bit cramped, plus no cupboard or safe to put our things in. The bed wasn’t super comfy. But it was okay for one night. The extra heater was a nice thought. And the location was perfect to visit the glowworm caves.

Summary: A super clean tidy and perfectly adequate room. We are used to DOC huts tho so anything is luxury to us. Beds we clean and comfy. Room was warm with two heaters. Simple but perfect for our hiking stay

Summary: We went to the cave and this was close place. Rooms were nice. We arrived late and had to go to town for food that was about 12 min away. While we were there we found this great handmade baggage store.. Awesome work and nice guy. Don't remember the name but it was next to the only gas station.

Summary: Nice unique property for remote location. We enjoyed the stay as its close to the Waitomo Glowworm cave.

Summary: Simple but clean accommodation. Stayed in an upstairs room with a bathroom, lighting on the outdoor steps up to the room was poor at night but otherwise the room was fine for a one night stay. Friendly service at reception on arrival and departure. Had a very good fish burger at the pub next door and hubby had a very good seafood chowder.
