Positive: Amazing workspaces. Cool rooftop bar. Very hip boutique hotel.

Negative: It’s not quite central but not far either. The room I had was a very tiny coffin. Almost like a capsule hotel. If u just need a place to sleep it’s great but can be quite claustrophobic

Positive: Modern and lively place to stay. Has a lot of people and amenities, good for active stay in Amsterdam. Clean and comfortable and good transport connection to the city centre. Would recommend.

Negative: Nothing special, maybe the coffee and food was a bit on the higher price range, but everything was good so we can not complain.

Positive: Great location near the metro. Good size, clean rooms. The room was ready early so we were able to check in earlier than planned which was great. Amazing facilities, including the bar, restaurant and hot tubs.

Negative: The bathroom door in our room wasn’t a door, it was some hanging chains. Made it a bit difficult privacy-wise but we coped.

Summary: Amazing value for money. Would stay here again!

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay at volkshotel. The staff were very friendly and the kids hot chocolate was delicious. Very relaxed vibe and the room was very different to anything we have stayed in before kids loved the bunk beds.

Positive: Everyone was very friendly and the hotel was well equipment and beautifully designed

Negative: The rooms were noisy -I could hear a lot through the walls and doors slamming. However I always travel with earplugs and these were sufficient to sleep with Loved the hot tubs and sauna on the roof, but perhaps more hottubs are needed as they were full when I tried to use them. Equally some of the lockers were broken
