Positive: - ​Excellent Facilities: The accommodation exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly clean, with housekeeping provided daily (except Sundays). The main room had working AC, which was a lifesaver during hot afternoons, and the warm water worked perfectly. - ​Self-Catering Setup: The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. While the restaurant wasn't serving food during the low season, we were able to buy fresh lobster, fish, and basic ingredients at the nearby Barra traditional market. - ​The Bar & Pool: Alberto was always ready at the bar to help with cold drinks and ice. The pool was a fantastic addition and very well-maintained. ​Peaceful Location: Located in a quiet part of Barra, the beach is just a short walk away. Being the only guests during the low season made it feel very private and serene.
Negative: - Intrusive Vendors: The only reason this isn't a 10/10 stay is the daily presence of sellers inside the property. They would approach our cottage while we were eating breakfast or come to the pool while we were relaxing. After many travels, this was our first experience where sellers were allowed into the property to be quite aggressive or use guilt-trip tactics, which became very annoying. - ​4x4 Required: It is important to note that this property can only be accessed by a 4x4 vehicle. - ​Low Season Service: Since we visited during the low season, the restaurant was closed, though the kitchen facilities made self-catering easy.
