Positive: Very clean and comfortable room on the main road of the village. Restaurant has magnificent local food and the atmosphere is cosy, warm and welcoming.

Positive: This is quite an exceptional place to stay. There are a number of accommodation units around the courtyard and an attractive communal dining-area. Dinner is three courses and comes with a seemingly limitless amount of plum schnapps. The proprietress was very friendly. We had booked a double room but appear to have been 'upgraded' to stay in 'the house' (sleeps 4) by the entrance door and it was absolutely charming and cosy: very characterful but with a very modern bathroom. Opening the window onto the 'street' in the morning at sunrise and seeing the cows and goats coming out to graze on the verges was magical. In October the village is very quiet and the overnight stay was unforgettable. There is secure parking within the courtyard. We would happily return. Go while Viscri is unspoilt by tourism!

Positive: It is a wonderful quiet cosy place. I slept very well on high quality mattresses, in a warm, spotless clean room after enjoying the most delicious meal prepared by Vio. Thank you Viscri 125 for the excellent experience!
