Positive: Everything about Viroths is excellent. Staff, food, facilities, pillows, pool - everything. It’s my second stay there and I won’t stay anywhere else. The spa is also excellent and I love the little boutique shop over the road as well. When I leave it feels like I’m saying goodbye to family! Located three mins to the river and a lovely pagoda with monks. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance and about 15 mins drive in a remork (Tuk-tuk) to Angkor Wat.

Positive: Lovely little oasis in Siem Reap. Everything about this hotel is lovely. Staff so friendly and efficient, there was also lots of staff so never kept waiting. Every member of staff which we encountered were friendly and happy. It was a pleasure to stay here. They even had mosquito spay which they would encourage and happily spray onto you before leaving the hotel. Could not fault this hotel in anyway. If we came back to Siem Reap we would certainly stay there again and will not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

Positive: This place is spotless from top to bottom, the kind of clean that makes you feel guilty for even setting your bags down. The staff could not have done more for us, they never missed a beat and no request was too big. They helped us arrange visits to the main sights and even sorted us out with a beautiful Rolls Royce and driver, which was a treat in itself. We had the deluxe double with pool view and I am fairly sure the room was cleaned five times a day. Every time we stepped out and came back it looked like we had just checked in again. The room itself was a very good size, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were both large and well designed. The pool and gardens are stunning, the location is perfect for exploring, and it is only a five minute walk to Pub Street. We have already planned our return, which should tell you everything you need to know about how much we enjoyed our stay.

Negative: It is not adult only. This was not an issue for us but I can see how some couples, solo travellers, or groups looking for absolute peace might find it worth knowing.
