Positive: Louise was a lovely host, couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The room and bathroom were a great standard (I had a great night's sleep). Very tasty breakfast. Exceeded my expectations.

Positive: The cottage was in a lovely, picturesque location. Louise the host was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We were welcomed as visitors in her own home and her two little dogs were really sweet. The bed was really comfy and it was very quiet at night in the village. Louise tailored our breakfast and made sure there was a choice for us if requested. On our first morning my husband enjoyed a full english whilst I loved my poached egg on toast, along with fresh fruits and yoghurt. We were invited to watch ‘Strictly’ in the lounge with Louise and her daughter so she certainly went above and beyond. Thank you very much Louise, Good Luck with all of the restoration and changes ahead.

Positive: If you are looking for a sterile, quiet, immaculate B&B, with breakfast eaten in subdued tones - then look elsewhere. If on other hand you want to feel like you are part of the family, living in a friends house - then Virginia Cottage is for you. Louise was incredibly helpful and went out of her to way to ensure we enjoyed our stay.
Negative: Nothing springs to mind. Like any B&B / rental accomadation one could nit-pick, but the positives outweigh the very minor negatives.
Summary: We couldn't have chosen better for our reason for visiting.
