Positive: We stayed here for our first night of a tuk-tuk tour around Sri Lanka and really enjoyed it. The villa is large, clean, and very comfortable, with a nice pool and beautiful, peaceful grounds full of trees and birds. It’s ideal for families or larger groups. We happened to be staying on our anniversary and mentioned it to the hosts, who surprised us with a cake — an incredibly kind and thoughtful gesture. A great place to relax before continuing our journey.

Negative: Google map doesn’t do a great job here, so turn left at the T junction and then 3 rights to get around the block to it.

Positive: We stayed at Vinsiri Villa in Sri Lanka for 4 nights as a family, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The villa has a beautiful, peaceful view and truly feels like a retreat centre, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. The hosts were excellent—very warm, welcoming, and always helpful, which made our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was delicious; although it was an extra cost, it was completely worth it and something we looked forward to every morning. Overall, Vinsiri Villa is an ideal place for a family vacation if you’re looking for calm, comfort, and great hospitality. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Positive: No breakfast/bed tea. Because the wedding ceremony was in a somewhat distant area, our two families chose Vinsri Villa to attend it. It is a very beautiful villa. The check-in time was 10:00 AM, and the check-out time was 10:00 AM the following day. When we reached the place, it was around 8:00 PM. The garden was also decorated very beautifully. After a few hours, something happened to the electricity supply; however, they were able to provide power from their own generator. I later found out that the electricity breakdown was only for this property, and the surrounding residents still had power. The Vinsri Villa manager/caretaker told us that the Electricity Board would take their own time to come and repair it. Unfortunately, the problem persisted the following day without any solution. They did not have an electrician to check whether the problem was due to their internal wiring. The person in charge of the premises asked us to switch off the air conditioners due to the limited power supply the generator could provide. For the rest of the whole night, we slept without AC or even a fan in the rooms. This place is very nice compared to other venues. They have a beautiful garden and great items in their premises, especially in the kitchen. Early the next morning, we left for the wedding ceremony, and the villa management allowed us, upon our request, to return after the nearby wedding to change our clothes. So, if I rate them, I would give them a good rating of 9 out of 10. If the power problem had not existed, it would be a 10.
