Summary: We enjoyed our two-weeks stay in this well equipped accommodation. It's a bit off the famous tourist spots but everything is within driving range, either by car or by train. Unfortunately we didn't meet Simone in person but he answered all questions within a few minutes via mail. We can definitely recommend this place.

Summary: If I could give six starts, I would! What a lovely house with a beautiful garden and the most amazing view over the Tuscan hills. Castelfeanco di Sopra is a cozy small town, with some restaurants and two smaller supermarkets. Trips from there to Firenze, Siena, Arezzo, Pisa and other places can easily be done. I highly recommend! Simone was a great host

Summary: We stayed here for 4 weeks and could not have been happier. Simone is an excellent host, even when sick with Covid replied to every question and gave us very memorable recommendations and friends to come by to check on things. The villa itself is at the end of a street and is quiet and private. The views are breathtaking. The yard is so amazing that we came back to the states seeing how to replicate some of it. Fruit and olive trees, it is really something. Somedays we would languish out back overlooking the canyon on chaise lounges reading books and drinking wine. It really was heaven. Equidistant to Florence and Sienna with countless towns that are a must see. Thank you Simone! We re glad you are feeling better!

Summary: Read Jill B’s review which I adopt as if same were set forth above verbatim. It is indeed well stocked and user friendly , extremely peaceful. My wife and I spent a month here. Simone is a warm and fabulous host who will meet you upon check in (Recommended). However, the simplicity of this VRBO is one of the things that makes it so special. It is an oasis. We were sad to leave. All the necessities are within walking distance or a short drive- gelato, groceries, post office, atm, good restaurants(The Tower adjacent to the actual Castle Tower…ask for Chiara who speaks good English, Andrea’s pizzarea is a short drive). We used this as our base to visit the back roads and small towns of Tuscany. Perfect for that. Simone is Jonny on the spot if you NEED him, You will Love this VRBO, and will miss it when you leave. Summary: My partner and I spent 2 1/2 month in Italy, working and living there. Our host was very easy to communicate with and fast to respond to any query we had. Because we worked there, we asked Simone to provided us with a screenshot of the internet bandwidth which he happily provided. Recommendations, questions, favours, whatever it was, Simone gladly helped us out! Castelfranco di Sopra is a beautiful small town in the middle of the Tuscany and offers small shops and restaurants (for the best Pizza we ever had go to Le Balze). It's quiet and remote yet very close to bigger cities like San Giovanni or Figline where you can go shopping, find big grocery stores and lots of restaurants. Arezzo, Siena and Florence are within one hour driving distance and beautiful cities to visit. Pisa is an hour and a half away. The house itself is at the end of a street with the Tuscany basically in the garden. It has a nice living room with a beautiful view, two bedrooms and a lovely bright kitchen. 1 minute away from the house is a small shops that has everything you need. You can go hiking everywhere and enjoy the views. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic we had to end our trip early. Simone was so kind and refunded the last two weeks we couldn't stay straight away. We would love to come back in the future and really enjoyed the stay. Thanks for being a great host, Simone!

Summary: We were here for just over 8 weeks and had a wonderful stay. Simone is a brilliant host. Nothing was too much trouble and he answered our queries very promptly. He even found me someone to teach me Italian, which was amazing. The house is lovely, well stocked and has everything you need. We were here in late winter and it is very warm and cosy. The garden is lovely with amazing views and well fenced, which was great for our dogs. Jill B's review is very accurate and tells you all you need to know about the village. The shop is really only a minute walk to the end of the road and is also well stocked. The neighbours (and villagers) are very friendly and so helpful. Our immediate neighbour, Franco, gave us a great home-made tomato pasta sauce to try - delicious. The house is well situated to visit all the scenic towns and we went to Florence, Siena and explored some of the outlying villages. There are some amazing walks up in the mountains and La Balze is a must. Sadly, the Coronavirus bug hit Italy in the middle of our stay and further exploration had to be curtailed. We ended up having to leave a little earlier than planned, which we very sad about. We can't wait to visit again as soon as the situation improves. Thank you so much Simone.

Summary: Very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely unspoilt part of Tuscany. Garden and views simply beautiful. The house has a perfect position in the village at the end of a quiet street looking out on the countryside, yet two minutes from shops, cafés, bars. Great to have a couple of bikes available. Owner friendly and helpful. We loved the village and found people welcoming and pleasant. Good location both in itself and for getting around and visiting other places of interest - Siena, Arezzo, Florence, Chianti country.
